Marti, We need to live closer!! You can always have some of mine:) But you have to give them back:)!! I had just the baby girl last night - Dean was gone for work and the 4 older kids went out to Grandma Bake's house for the night. AND ~ I missed my kids!!
Dean and I were thinking of flying out that way to say hi and see Grandpa! Dean would fly us!!!! We will have to start planing and let you know when!!!
This is your time to do things or activities with Don. I know you already do this. Maybe start a new hobby or activity that is just for you or the two of you to do together. I love making wall hangings, especially with fabric that represents the children's personality. This is a time to enjoy!!, not to be lonely.
It is okay to miss the kids. We do too, but we have come to really enjoy our time together. We seem to be busy all of the time, sometimes with each other, sometimes not. But, at the end of the day, it's the time together we cherish the most. Embrace this stage of your life. It is great and the kids are still there, just moving on as we did many years ago.
